Group Exercise Studio

With top class instructors running over 25 sessions a week, there’s a class for everyone at the brand new Tring Sports Centre Group Exercise studio. See examples below.

If you think you might attend more than one class per week, then our Class+ membership will save you money. Simply ask at reception for more details or join online.

BOUNCE

We are thrilled to offer Bounce at Tring Sports Centre. This resistance based fitness class, involves the use of mini trampolines and high tempo music to give you an all round fantastic work out.

Classes run on Tuesday evenings 7:15pm and Sunday mornings, bright and early at 8.30am.

Note: this class is provided by an external provider and not included as part of a membership.

Stretch is a class where you can reconnect with your body and ease tension. Designed for all levels, this class focuses on enhancing flexibility, improving posture and relieving stress through a series of guided stretches.

Aqua Hiit

Aqua Fit offers a range of benefits, without many of the drawbacks of intense exercise classes. You lose weight, get stronger and improve your fitness, without putting much strain on your joints.  The supporting impact of water makes it great for people with mobility issues and for those recovering from injury.

Box Fit

Box Fit is a high intensity cardio workout based on boxing techniques using gloves and pad work. Suitable for all levels, this non-contact workout will improve your agility, strength and overall fitness. This is a fun, challenging and safe workout.

Cardio Tone

Sculpt your body with or without light weights and high reps. This class incorporates cardio movements to get the blood pumping and those calories burning. Be prepared for an exhilertating workout that produces great results.

Core class at Tring Sports Centre

Circuits

This class will help improve your flexibility, core balance and muscle strength. Moving from station to station you complete a range of exercises targeting different muscle groups for a certain length of time or reps. Exercise equipment includes dumbbells, resistance bands, steps and ropes.

Combat

Get ready to blow away your daily stresses! Combat is a cardio class inspired by martial arts where you can punch, kick and strike your way through a total body workout to motivating music. Expect to burn heaps of calories and feel great whilst you’re doing it!

Hiit & Core

High intensity interval training (hiit) alternates short periods of intense exercise with less-intense recovery periods. This is followed by a non-aerobic, muscle-toning session, focused on core strength.

Legs, Bums & Tums

This energetic class strengthens your legs defines your glutes and will tone and define your mid section. It is also a great way to improve your core strength and posture. This is a workout for all body types and ages, and you’ll notice and feel a big difference in six weeks.

MetaPWR

MetaPWR is the new workout from Metafit, sticking to our fundamental HIIT training principles, our instructors at Tring Sports Centre have created a 30 minute power circuit using functional kit, to work muscle and boost metabolism.

A really popular class at Tring Sports Centre, Step is a classic cardio workout. The “step” is a 4-inch to 12-inch raised platform. You step up, around, and down from the platform in different patterns to boost your heart rate and breathing, and strengthen your muscles.
