Group Exercise Studio

With top class instructors delivering over 25 sessions each week, there’s something for everyone. Our classes are open to all abilities and suitable for ages 16+.

Regressions and progressions are offered throughout every class, allowing participants to adapt or advance movements to suit their individual fitness level and goals.

We also host pop-up classes throughout the year, giving you the chance to try something new with no ongoing commitment. These sessions are a great way to mix up your routine, discover new workouts, and have fun—so keep an eye out for upcoming pop-up classes.

Our range of group exercise classes includes the following:

Circuits

This class will help improve your flexibility, core balance and muscle strength. Moving from station to station you complete a range of exercises targeting different muscle groups for a certain length of time or reps. Exercise equipment includes dumbbells, resistance bands, steps and ropes.

Body Conditioning

Body Conditioning is a full-body, strength-based workout designed to build muscle, improve endurance, and boost overall fitness. This class uses a combination of hand weights, barbells, and bodyweight exercises to target all major muscle groups. Expect a balanced, effective workout that challenges your strength, elevates your heart rate, and leaves you feeling stronger from head to toe. Suitable for all fitness levels, with options to modify or progress movements as needed.

Cardio Tone

This class incorporates cardio movements to get the blood pumping and those calories burning. Be prepared for an exhilertating workout that produces great results.

Legs, Bums & Tums

This energetic class strengthens your legs defines your glutes and will tone and define your mid section. It is also a great way to improve your core strength and posture. This is a workout for all body types and ages, and you’ll notice and feel a big difference in six weeks.

Stretch

Stretch is a class where you can reconnect with your body and ease tension. Designed for all levels, this class focuses on enhancing flexibility, improving posture and relieving stress through a series of guided stretches.

Aqua Fit

Aqua Fit is a low-impact, full-body workout that delivers great results without the strain of high-intensity exercise. Exercising in water helps you build strength, improve cardiovascular fitness, and support weight loss while being gentle on your joints. The natural resistance and buoyancy of the water make this class ideal for all fitness levels, including those with mobility limitations or recovering from injury. Using a variety of equipment such as noodles, hand weights, and more, Aqua Fit provides a fun, effective, and supportive workout in the pool.

MetaPWR

MetaPWR is the new workout from Metafit, sticking to our fundamental HIIT training principles, our instructors at Tring Sports Centre have created a 30 minute power circuit using functional kit, to work muscle and boost metabolism. 

Yoga

Tuesday evening and Saturday morning Yoga is a Vinyasa Flow class that offers an opportunity to stretch and strengthen the body and calm the mind . The class offers guided mindfulness, relaxation ,breath work and a strong flow with an emphasis on finding good alignment technique.
Suitable for all levels of student as modifications are offered for a multilevel approach.
Friday morning Yoga is a Hatha Vinyasa is a gentle yet energising morning class that blends mindful movement with steady flow. Poses are held a little longer to build strength, balance, and flexibility, while still maintaining a fluid, continuous sequence. Designed to ease you into the day, this class encourages breath-led movement, focus, and calm, leaving you feeling centred, refreshed, and ready for whatever lies ahead. Suitable for all levels, with options to modify poses as needed.

Zumba

Come join the party! ZUMBA® takes the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Featuring Latin rhythms, Zumba® is an exercise class that keeps everyone motivated by creating a dance party atmosphere.

Hiit & Core

High intensity interval training (hiit) alternates short periods of intense exercise with less-intense recovery periods. This is followed by a non-aerobic, muscle-toning session, focused on core strength.

Pilates

A really popular class at Tring Sports Centre, Pilates is a form of exercise which concentrates on strengthening the body with an emphasis on core strength. This helps to improve general fitness and overall well-being. The focus throughout is on posture, balance and flexibility.

Aqua HIIT

Aqua HIIT is a high-intensity interval training class that uses the water’s 360-degree resistance, you’ll tone every muscle group while protecting your joints from the impact of land-based training.
Our Aqua HIIT class is designed for all fitness levels, allowing you to push your limits at your own pace. We vary the workout syle with equipment like dumbbells and noodles, we target core stability and strength in a supportive environment. Perfect for cross-training, injury recovery, or anyone who wants a “pool party” vibe for their fitness routine.

Box Fit

Box Fit is a high intensity cardio workout based on boxing techniques using gloves and pad work. Suitable for all levels, this non-contact workout will improve your agility, strength and overall fitness. This is a fun, challenging and safe workout.

Combat

Get ready to blow away your daily stresses! Combat is a cardio class inspired by martial arts where you can punch, kick and strike your way through a total body workout to motivating music. Expect to burn heaps of calories and feel great whilst you’re doing it! Please note this is a non-contact class. 

Body Sculpt

Body Sculpt is a non-aerobic, strength-focused class designed to tone and shape the entire body. Using a combination of hand weights, barbells, and bodyweight exercises, this class targets all major muscle groups through controlled, effective movements. Expect a focused, full-body workout that builds strength, improves muscle definition, and leaves you feeling stronger and more sculpted. Suitable for all fitness levels, with options to adjust weight and intensity.

Metafit

Boost your metabolism and torch calories in this high-intensity MetaFit class! This 30 minute workout combines bodyweight exercises with interval training to push your limits, build strength and increase endurance.

Step

A really popular class at Tring Sports Centre, Step is a classic cardio workout. The “step” is a 4-inch to 12-inch raised platform. You step up, around, and down from the platform in different patterns to boost your heart rate and breathing, and strengthen your muscles.
